Five Nights at Epstein's - Play Free Online
The viral FNAF-style parody by Evan Productions โ audio lures, vents, and an electrocution button. Night-by-night survival guide, plus what the controversy is about.
๐๏ธWhat is Five Nights at Epstein's?
Five Nights at Epstein's (abbreviated FNAE) is a free browser-based point-and-click survival horror parody built on the Five Nights at Freddy's formula. You sit in a security office from 12 AM to 6 AM, flip through an 11-camera feed, and use audio lures, vent doors, and a control panel to keep three caricatured figures โ Epstein, Trump, and Stephen Hawking โ away from your door for five nights.
The version playable on this page is the Evan Productions build (v1.1.5), an HTML5 port of the original Unity game. Several other versions exist โ including a separate GDevelop release by MVInteractive on gd.games from March 2026 โ and the game spread rapidly through TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube clips in early 2026, drawing coverage from Bloomberg, NPR, and CBS News after it began showing up in U.S. classrooms.
โ ๏ธAbout the Controversy
The game is a dark parody built on real events: Jeffrey Epstein was a convicted sex offender, and the premise โ surviving nights on his island โ is the reason schools and parents objected to it. In April 2026 NPR reported, citing Bloomberg's Alexandra Levine, that the game "emerged in the last few months as the Justice Department began releasing more of the Epstein files," following the same pattern as the earlier "Five Nights at Diddy's" parody.
Reporters who played it describe it as not graphic โ "more creepy than anything" โ but educators raised concerns about it desensitizing kids and being disrespectful to real victims. Videos of students playing it on school devices racked up millions of views, and districts across multiple states moved to block it.
This page is intended for adult players. The game contains jumpscares, unsettling ambient audio, and satire of real people. If you are looking for a similar mechanic without the subject matter, see FNAF 3 (which FNAE's audio-lure and vent systems are modeled on).
๐ฎHow to Play
Your office has a camera panel, a control panel, and an oxygen meter. Each in-game hour lasts 60 real seconds, so a full night is six minutes. Every tool has a cost, and the game is about rationing them:
- ๐ท
Cameras (CAM 1โ11) โ track where each enemy is. Cameras can break if you overuse the audio lure; when they go down you cannot switch feeds until you restart them.
- ๐
Audio lure (Play Sound) โ play a sound on a camera adjacent to Epstein to pull him toward it and away from you. Playing it on the same camera twice in a row does nothing.
- ๐ ๏ธ
Control panel โ restart the camera system when it fails, and open or close the air vents.
- Oโ
Oxygen โ closing the vents stops crawlers but drains your air. Leave them shut too long and you suffocate before 6 AM.
- โก
Electrocute โ a dedicated shock button on CAM 6 used against one specific enemy from Night 3 onward.
๐Night-by-Night Walkthrough
Night 1 โ Epstein
Epstein always starts at CAM 11. Keep him far away by playing the audio lure on the camera next to his current position, then leapfrog it further from the office. Do not spam it โ overuse breaks the cameras, and you will need to go to the control panel and restart them. He does not use the vents on this night, so leave them open.
Night 2 โ Trump joins
Trump spawns at CAM 10 and attacks through the vents at CAM 1 and CAM 2. When you hear banging in the vents, close them from the control panel. A few seconds later you will hear banging again โ that means he has left, and you must reopen the vents or you die from lack of oxygen. He can be lured with audio, but save your lures for Epstein.
Night 3 โ Stephen Hawking
Hawking stays parked at CAM 6 and is immune to audio lures. Open CAM 6 periodically and hit Electrocute to reset his timer. Let it run out and he leaves CAM 6 โ and his "missile" jumpscare ends the night. He can also break the camera, so keep the restart button in mind.
Night 4 โ Aggressive Epstein
All three are active. At 4 AM Epstein switches to aggressive mode and only moves forward toward the office โ lures become the only thing slowing him down. Manage the vents for Trump and the shock timer for Hawking in between.
Night 5 โ Aggressive Trump + Golden easter egg
At 4 AM Trump becomes faster and crawls more often. Night 5 also triggers a "Golden Stephen Hawking" flicker easter egg on load โ a nod to FNAF's Golden Freddy. Survive to 6 AM to see the win screen and unlock the 6th night.
Night 6 โ Epstein's Special Night
Unlocked from the main menu after beating Night 5. Every enemy is at its most aggressive from the start. The MVInteractive gd.games version adds a Custom Night and an Unlocks menu on top of this.
๐กSurvival Tips
- โข
Alternate lure cameras. The lure only works if the target camera is adjacent to Epstein and different from the last one you used. Bounce him between two far cameras rather than hammering one.
- โข
Listen more than you look. Vent banging (Trump) and the camera static cue are audio-first. Headphones make Night 2 onward dramatically easier.
- โข
Never leave the vents closed. The oxygen bar is a hard timer. Close, wait for the second bang, open โ that rhythm is the whole Trump mechanic.
- โข
Shock Hawking every 20 seconds. His timer is fixed: a yellow warning icon at 20 seconds, red at 25, the camera breaks at 30, and the jumpscare lands 4 seconds after that. Each shock resets the clock, so a shock every 20 seconds keeps him pinned all night.
- โข
Progress saves in your browser. The Continue button remembers your current night, so you do not have to start over after a jumpscare.

โFrequently Asked Questions
Is Five Nights at Epstein's a real game?
Yes. It is a fan-made parody, not an official FNAF title, and it exists in several versions from different creators. The one on this page is the Evan Productions build; another popular version by MVInteractive has logged over 10,000 sessions on gd.games.
Who made Five Nights at Epstein's?
There is no single origin. Bloomberg reported it was "difficult to pinpoint exactly where the game originated." The build here is credited to Evan Productions; the gd.games version is by MVInteractive.
How many nights are there?
Five main nights plus Epstein's Special Night, which unlocks on the main menu after you beat Night 5.
Why do I keep dying with the vents closed?
Oxygen. Closed vents drain the Oโ meter, and hitting zero is an instant loss. Only close them when you hear Trump banging, and reopen as soon as you hear the second set of bangs.
Is it appropriate for kids?
No. Even though the visuals are not graphic, the subject matter is why it was banned on many school networks. We list it as 18+.
