๐๏ธWhat is CreepyDates Chapter 3?
CreepyDates Chapter 3 is the third episode of CreepyDates, the free creepypasta dating simulator by solo developer Hahadit. Its in-game title card reads "Capรญtulo 3: Pesadillas" โ Chapter 3: Nightmares โ and it picks up directly where Chapter 2 left off inside the CreepyHouse, with your customizable protagonist still living alongside Jeff the Killer, Eyeless Jack, Ben Drowned, Ticci Toby, Masky & Hoodie, and Slenderman.
The chapter was announced for May 15 in a February 24, 2026 devlog and shipped on schedule: Hahadit posted "i finally finished chapter 3" on May 15, 2026, a few hours after fixing a last-minute bug they described as "a small stupid thing that was messing everything." It is not a separate download โ Chapter 3 is included in the main CreepyDates build (the three chapters are titled Nostalgia, Volver, and Pesadillas), which now carries a 4.8/5 rating from over 1,900 itch.io players and, per Hahadit's anniversary post, more than 2 million downloads.
๐How to Unlock Chapter 3

Finish Chapter 2 once. Chapter 3 shows as locked in the Chapters menu until you have reached the end of Chapter 2 โ Hahadit's own answer to players is that you only need to finish it one time, on any route, and it starts automatically.

Load your old save. Saves from Chapters 1 and 2 carry over. Load your latest slot and the new content continues seamlessly, with your affection levels and collected items intact.

Update the game first. If you are on an old download, Chapter 3 will not appear. Grab the current PC (368 MB), Android (388 MB), or Mac (361 MB) build from itch.io. Hahadit's official itch.io web version is currently offline; the browser build on this page is a web port of the May 2026 release that includes all three chapters.

Black screen or frozen scene? Hahadit's official advice for launch-week bugs was to reinstall the game and, if a scene still hangs, replay Chapter 2 with a different combination of dialogue choices.

Chapter 3 blurs the line between the dream and the real CreepyHouse. Here is what it adds, without spoiling the route scenes:

It opens in your real bedroom. The dreams have stopped, your grades are bad, and you try an internet "summoning" ritual โ candles, a burned name, and a Cleverbot chat if your favorite is Ben. Your creepypasta shows up in person with "Come with us... stay with us, forever."
๐ช Your own room
You wake up as a permanent resident with a room right next to Slenderman's office โ which Masky, Hoodie, and the others have opinions about. Expect new point-and-click snooping (Hoodie's messy desk, Masky's tidy one, video tapes).
๐ก๏ธ Rookie missions & a weapon
Slenderman sends you on "rookie missions" with Toby or with Masky & Hoodie. You get your own weapon, The Rake attacks, and the chapter adds two new minigames โ a struggle bar and a cooking game.

Laughing Jack drafts you into decorating the living room, hallways, and Ben's basement for a party because Slenderman's brothers are visiting. You meet Splendorman and Offenderman in person, and get roped into cooking for the guests.

Nina the Killer, Clockwork, Homicidal Liu, and Laughing Jack all have speaking roles in Chapter 3. Nina is here for Jeff; Clockwork keeps an eye on Toby, who admits he has not slept in days because of nightmares.

A new rule appears mid-chapter: characters react to your affection level with them even if they are not your chosen route โ and your favorite may get jealous if you get too close to someone else. Eyeless Jack even gives you a "heart" item.

Proxies love Slenderman talk. A player tip confirmed on Hahadit's Tumblr: in Toby's and Masky & Hoodie's routes, picking options that give Slenderman "too much credit" raises the proxies' affection.

Keep multiple Chapter 2 saves. Your Chapter 2 choices decide what you see in Chapter 3. Save before the final Chapter 2 scenes so you can branch into different routes without replaying from the start.

Set your language before loading. The game defaults to Spanish; switch to English, Russian, or Portuguese in Options first so Chapter 3's new dialogue displays correctly.

One route at a time. Hahadit has said writing six routes solo is "very hard" โ each is a full story with its own pacing, so focus on one bachelor per playthrough rather than spreading affection.
