Five Nights at Freddy's 1 - Play Free Online Unblocked
The original horror phenomenon that started it all. Survive 5 nights at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
🎮What is Five Nights at Freddy's?
Five Nights at Freddy's (FNAF) is the indie horror game that launched a billion-dollar franchise. Created by Scott Cawthon and released on August 8, 2014, this point-and-click survival horror game became an instant phenomenon, selling millions of copies and spawning countless sequels, spin-offs, books, and even a 2023 Hollywood movie.
You play as Mike Schmidt, a newly hired night security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — a Chuck E. Cheese-style family restaurant. Your job seems simple: watch the security cameras from midnight to 6 AM. But the animatronic entertainers have a dark secret. At night, they roam freely... and they don't like adults.
🤖The Animatronics
Meet the four animatronic mascots of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza — friendly entertainers by day, deadly hunters by night:
🐻 Freddy Fazbear
The lead singer and mascot of the restaurant. Freddy is the most cunning animatronic — he waits patiently in the dark, only moving when you're not watching. His music box jingle plays before he attacks. He becomes extremely aggressive on later nights.
🐰 Bonnie the Bunny
The guitarist of the band. Bonnie is typically the first to leave the stage and approaches from the left side. He's the most active animatronic, constantly moving around the restaurant. Keep an eye on him through the West Hall.
🐥 Chica the Chicken
The backup singer who carries a cupcake. Chica approaches from the right side through the East Hall and kitchen. You can hear her clanging pots in the kitchen — use audio cues to track her without wasting camera power.
🦊 Foxy the Pirate
The out-of-order animatronic in Pirate Cove. Unlike others, Foxy requires you to check on him regularly. Ignore him and he sprints down the West Hall. Check too often and he becomes aggressive. Balance is key.
👻 Golden Freddy
A mysterious secret animatronic. Golden Freddy appears randomly as a slumped, golden suit in your office. If you see the "IT'S ME" poster on the West Hall, he may appear. Look at him and your game crashes. Pull up the camera immediately to avoid him. His origin is one of FNAF's greatest mysteries.
🎯Gameplay Mechanics
Survival in FNAF requires careful resource management:
⚡ Limited Power
You start each night with 100% power. Every action drains it: cameras, lights, and most importantly, the security doors. Run out of power and the doors open, lights go out, and Freddy plays his music box before ending your night permanently.
🚪 Security Doors
Two heavy metal doors protect your office. When an animatronic is at your door, close it immediately. But keeping doors closed drains power rapidly. Only close them when absolutely necessary.
💡 Door Lights
Check the hallway lights before closing doors. If you see glowing eyes or a shadow, close the door. Using lights is cheaper than keeping doors closed, so check first, then decide.
📹 Security Cameras
Monitor 11 cameras throughout the pizzeria. Track animatronic positions, especially Foxy in Pirate Cove (CAM 1C). Cameras also drain power, so use them strategically. You can't see your doors while viewing cameras.
🌙Night-by-Night Guide
Night 1 - Tutorial
The easiest night. Only Bonnie and Chica are mildly active. Phone Guy explains the lore and mechanics. Focus on learning the camera layout and door timing. You'll likely finish with 50%+ power remaining.
Night 2 - Foxy Awakens
Foxy becomes active. Check Pirate Cove (CAM 1C) every few camera cycles. If he's peeking out or gone, check your left door immediately. Bonnie and Chica move more frequently.
Night 3 - Freddy Joins
Freddy becomes active. He moves when cameras are down and hides in dark areas. Listen for his laugh — each laugh means he's moved closer. Power management becomes critical. Develop a consistent routine.
Night 4 - Aggressive AI
All animatronics are highly aggressive. Phone Guy's final message is disturbing — you hear him being attacked. Foxy runs more often. Power conservation is essential. Many players fail here first.
Night 5 - Maximum Danger
The final night of the main story. Animatronics are at their most aggressive. Every second counts. Survive until 6 AM to see the ending and receive your paycheck: $120 for the week.
Night 6 - Overtime
Unlocked after completing Night 5. Even harder than Night 5. Completing this unlocks the second star on the main menu. You receive a pink slip and a check for overtime pay.
Custom Night - 4/20 Mode
Set all animatronics to maximum difficulty (20). The legendary "4/20 Mode" is one of gaming's hardest challenges. Completing it unlocks the third star and a special ending screen.
💡Survival Tips
- 1.
Check lights before closing doors: Door lights use less power than keeping doors closed. Only close when you confirm an animatronic is there.
- 2.
Monitor Foxy regularly: Check Pirate Cove every 3-4 camera cycles. Too often makes him aggressive, too little lets him sprint to your office.
- 3.
Listen to audio cues: Chica clangs in the kitchen, Freddy laughs when moving, Foxy's footsteps mean he's running. Use sound to track threats without cameras.
- 4.
Conserve power: Only use cameras when needed. Keep doors open unless threatened. In later nights, try to enter 5 AM with at least 15-20% power.
- 5.
Freddy stays at the right door: If Freddy reaches your office, he'll be at the right door. Keep that door closed if you hear his laugh nearby. He's patient but deadly.
📖Story & Lore
🍕 Freddy Fazbear's Pizza
The restaurant has a dark history. In 1985, five children went missing at the pizzeria. Their bodies were never found, but witnesses reported seeing blood and mucus around the animatronics. The "Missing Children Incident" is the key to understanding why the robots hunt you.
👤 The Purple Guy
Through hidden minigames (revealed in later games), we learn a man in a purple uniform lured and murdered the children. He stuffed their bodies into the animatronic suits. The children's souls now possess the robots, seeking revenge on any adult in the restaurant.
🎭 Why They Attack You
The animatronics see you as an adult in the restaurant after hours — just like their killer. They try to stuff you into a spare suit, which would crush your body. To them, they're protecting future children from another predator.
